All of our designs, both vertical and horizontal, are standard sizes, meaning they are built to accommodate all standard sized mattresses (Twin, Full/Double, Queen)(NO KING). These standard sized designs make finding the perfect, but no thicker than 12”, innerspring mattress a breeze. We can accommodate mattresses thicker than 12", but at an additional charge. Contact us if you have a non-standard mattress in mind (i.e. Tempur-Pedic, Latex, Pillow-top, etc.). We can let you know how this will affect the construction of your wall bed. For more information on our mattresses, visit our mattress page. Our twin designs have ample room for sleeping a single adult or child. Our queen and double designs offer more than enough space to comfortably sleep two adults. If your room has ample ceiling height and adequate floor space, the vertical design is your best option. With a variety of face designs and stain colors to choose from, your fully functioning, space-saving bed becomes a beautifully hidden secret. Below is a table fully describing the overall dimensions of the different sized beds for our Vertical Beds.

ACTUAL WIDTH

*Depth is the dimension from the wall to the Crown in front of the face of the bed in the closed position. NOTE: IF you order larger Crown, the depth your bed will be 22 1/4 inches (to accomodate side cabinets with larger crown).
**Projection is the dimension from the wall to the outside of the bed frame in the open position.

***Width given is from outside of Crown Molding to outside of Crown Molding. If you are trying to fit the bed into a nitch, by removing the Crown Molding you can subtract 1 1/2" from your width. Please contact us for more detail information and helpful pointers.

If your room has lower ceilings, perhaps our horizontal design is the best solution. Once opened, our horizontal bed gives you the comfort you need for a good night’s sleep. The added functionality of an eye-level shelf is yet another added bonus of our horizontal designs.
