Natural Maple Finished Vertical YouLift DIY Murphy Bed

This bed is delivered in two boxes, disassembled for easy shipping. The bed face and cabinet structure are both broken down, necessitating assembly upon delivery.

Our DIY bed is constructed using high-quality maple plywood materials.

Assembling this DIY bed is a breeze with the use of just a few essential tools: a drill, a #2 Phillips screwdriver, a #2 Phillips bit, a stud finder, a level, an adjustable wrench, and a mallet.

The bed operation involves two individuals to raise and lower it smoothly. Each person should have the ability to lift at least 50lbs effortlessly. However, don't fret—the bed is designed with rockers on the bottom shelf, making it easy to roll and significantly reducing the weight burden.

This is only for the unfinished YouLift beds! The Natural finish YouLift products come already finished. You have the flexibility to use essentially any finish available at a popular hardware store in your area for these beds. However, we strongly recommend finishing the beds once you receive them to enhance their appearance and protect the wood for long-lasting durability.

When the bed face is in the upright and vertical position, it is secured by locks located on each side of the bed face. These locks effectively hold the face in place, firmly attaching it to the cabinet body. For added security, each bed is equipped with a key specifically designed to unlock and lock these mechanisms.

The Youlift bed is compatible with any standard mattress, accommodating thicknesses of up to 11". For optimal performance, we recommend using a lighter mattress, as the weight of the mattress directly impacts the ease of lifting and lowering the bed face. A lighter mattress will make the process more effortless and ensure a smooth operation of the bed.
